INVASIVE PLANT SPECIES
The South West Invasive Managers (SWIM) represent a diverse group of agencies and organizations committed to the sharing of resources and promotion of best practices toward managing invasive plant species within southwestern Alberta.
SWIM facilitates hands on opportunities within southwestern Alberta such as interactive field tours and annual workshops which focus on invasive plant prevention, early detection and rapid response techniques, integrated management strategies, as well as reclamation and restoration of desired ecological functions.
