LITTLE FISH BIG STEWARDSHIP

The Milk River Watershed Council Canada (MRWCC) is working with Cows and Fish and local landowners on the Little Fish, Big Stewardship project which offers cost-sharing opportunities for beneficial management changes made to riparian and in-stream habitat for at-risk fish species on your land.

Possible stewardship projects include but are not limited to the installation of riparian fencing, portable electric fencing, portable or permanent livestock off-site watering systems, expansion of riparian zones, erosion control techniques, and beaver coexistence techniques.

Those interested in this opportunity are encouraged to contact the project lead at the phone number or email provided here for more information (no further details are available online at this time).
