ENVIRONMENTAL FARM PLAN
The Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) is a free, voluntary program designed to help farmers identify environmental strengths and pinpoint potential risks on their operations. It supports landowners in developing practical, site-specific plans to manage, monitor, or mitigate these risks—enhancing both environmental stewardship and operational resilience.
Whether the goal is to improve management practices, water sources, soil health, topography, emergency planning, or overall sustainability, the EFP takes a whole-farm approach tailored to the specific context of each operation. Delivered in a user-friendly and flexible online format, the program makes it straightforward to assess current practices and plan for both short- and long-term environmental and operational improvements.
