SMALL GRANTS PROGRAM

The Alberta Native Plant Council (ANPC) is a not-for-profit that provides grants of up to $1,000 for native plant projects by Alberta residents, not-for-profit organizations, or registered charities operating in Alberta.

Applications to access this funding are open annually from January 1 to February 28.

Planting native plant species in Alberta can support biodiversity by providing habitats for local wildlife, stabilizing soil, and reducing water consumption. It may also benefit the economy by lowering maintenance costs, boosting land value, and creating opportunities in ecological restoration and sustainable agriculture.
