PRODUCER-GUIDED CONSERVATION

ALUS is a farmer-led program working to help build vibrant communities through a Partnership Advisory Committee made up of local farmers, community stakeholders, and other NGOs.

ALUS provides financial and technical support for the implementation of projects that address specific local environmental challenges such as regenerative agriculture; riparian pasture establishment; alternative watering systems; native species conservation and restoration; wetland, lake, and streambank protection or enhancement, as well as per-acre annual payments to its participants for the production of ecosystem services and the ongoing stewardship of projects.

If you are interested in participating in the ALUS Pincher Creek program more information can be found here https://alus.ca/alus_community/alus-pincher-creek/
