\n\t\"null\"\n<\/div><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text css=””]Working with Beavers works with landowners, municipalities, First Nations, industry, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations to promote beavers as a nature-based solution for watershed health by increasing knowledge and awareness of the benefits of beavers, training for implementation of coexistence tools, and researching new tools and beneficial practices for coexistence with beavers and watershed restoration.<\/p>\n

Examples of beaver coexistence strategies include the installation of pond levellers, culvert protectors, tree wrapping, and beaver dam analogues.<\/p>\n

Beavers play a crucial role in creating and maintaining wetlands, which help improve water availability during dry periods and can mitigate flooding. Their dams slow water flow, reducing soil erosion, improving water quality, and improving groundwater recharge. By creating habitat for beneficial species, beavers contribute to a more resilient ecosystem that directly supports healthy landscapes.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n
