How do YOU See the Future of Agriculture in the Oldman?
The Oldman Watershed Council (OWC) is hosting a series of events called Voices of the Oldman in Taber on January 31st, Twin Butte on MARCH 8TH or Stavely on March 1st, 2017.
Everyone directly working in the agriculture industry is welcome to attend and provide input on what challenges they think agriculture is currently facing along with what they foresee in the future for agriculture. These events are an important opportunity to have your voice heard both locally and provincially as your input will help guide Oldman Watershed Council projects and impact advice they give to the Government of Alberta.
The OWC event at the Twin Butte Community Hall will be held on Friday, February 10th, 2017 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. To view the agenda for the Twin Butte meeting and further information click here.
Following the OWC event will be the annual Nature Conservancy of Canada’s Eat and Greet
This includes a free supper at 5:30pm and a special showing of Striking Balance which features the Waterton Biosphere Reserve to follow at 7:00pm.
