Can you join our team for Day on the Creek 2019?
Day on the Creek is coming up in Pincher Creek, AB on May 29, 2019. Day on the Creek is a unique outdoor learning experience where students, parents, teachers and the general public can learn about the environment and human history along Pincher Creek and explore the importance of watershed stewardship. The Day on the Creek team has been hard at work planning for this year’s event and there are some great learning stations shaping up. It looks like it will be another fantastic year.
We need volunteers to make the day a success and would like your help either as a volunteer or to spread the word. We are looking for people to:
- create and deliver presentations for youth from Kindergarten to High School
- assist presenters and work with students at learning stations
- staff information tables at various sites along the creek and
- provide general support before, during and after the event (placing signs, set up and take down, hospitality).
For those of you who came out in 2017 or 2018, we would love to have you back. For new volunteers we are excited to welcome you to Day on the Creek 2019!
