The Waterton Biosphere Reserve Association will be hosting a Bear Safety Workshop on Monday July 20, 2015, 1:00 to 5:00 pm at M.D. of Ranchland building – Chain Lakes.
These workshops are aimed at helping farmers, ranchers and their families address some of the safety concerns that arise when living with large carnivores such as grizzly and black bears. Please see the poster below for further details.
We realize this may reach you after the registration deadline (July 13th), if you would like to attend the workshop in Chain Lakes please contact the WBRA Communications Coordinator, Jen Jenkins at jjenkins@watertonbiosphere.com as there will be no one at the MD of Ranchland office over the weekend.
Additionally, there is a workshop being planned for later in the year in the Gladstone Valley/Beaver Mines area. More information will be posted as soon as the details are confirmed.
